How does it work?

REDOX (Oxidation Reduction Process)

Using KDF-55 media, a unique, patented combination of high-purity copper and zinc, the Aqua Prime Shower Filter uses electrochemical oxidation-reduction, known as REDOX.

During this reaction, electrons are transferred between molecules, new elements are created and harmful contaminants are changed into harmless components. Free chlorine is changed into benign, water-soluble chlorine, which is then carried harmlessly through the water supply.

KDF55 also retains heavy metals such as mercury and lead to prevent absorption through the pores of your skin.
