Fairly simple to fit on the side of an undersink cupboard. It needs to support the weight of a fairly large 3M filter (heavy when full of water), but it is of substantial construction. I used 1/4" to 3/4" adapters since my old water filter used the smaller gauge. Just be sure to insert these fully, since it is easy to be lulled into a false sense of security with the push-fit connectors. Wetness will ensue when you turn the water back on, otherwise!

The 3M VH3 filter head features 3/8" Push Fit connections and an auto shut-off mechanism for quick and easy filter changes. Featuring Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) technology, the filter can be changed quickly with a quarter turn with the auto-shut off ensuring there are no leaks.

The VH3 is compatible with ScaleGard Pro, HF, BNE, BNC and all 3M filters other than the AP2 models.
