Why youāll love it
- 0.5 micron filtration for finer sediment reduction than the 1 micron C401 range.
- Reduces chlorine taste and odour, lead, cysts and selected VOCs.
- Up to 4,000 litres or 6 months of use, whichever comes first.
- Sanitary Quick Change fitting for a straightforward cartridge change.
- Includes scale inhibitor to help limit limescale build-up in compatible equipment.
The 3M AP2-C405-SG is a replacement water filter cartridge with a 0.5 micron carbon block with scale inhibition. It is designed for compatible mains-fed water coolers and drinking water systems.
It reduces chlorine taste and odour, sediment, cysts, lead and selected VOCs, including benzene, toxaphene and p-dichlorobenzene.
The SG model includes a scale inhibitor to help limit limescale formation in compatible equipment. Scale inhibition does not soften the water or remove hardness minerals.
Filter life and replacement
Rated for up to 4,000 litres at approximately 1.9 litres per minute. Replace every 6 months or at rated capacity, whichever comes first. Water quality and usage affect service life.
Compatibility
The Sanitary Quick Change cartridge fits compatible 3M AP2 filter heads. Check your system model before ordering. The cartridge has a finer rating than the 1 micron C401 range; this alone does not confirm appliance compatibility.
What is included?
One 3M AP2-C405-SG replacement cartridge. Filter head, tubing and fittings are sold separately.
