Well made unit and very easy to install. I already have a water softener fitted so all I needed was a 3/4/ to 3/4 braided hose to connect the BMB-100 upstream of the water softener. Easy to install but I did have a slight leak when I turned the water on. I rang Filter Flair who sent me some spare O rings by the next day. When I went to replace the o ring, i found the original problem which was that there were two o rings fitted to one of the filter bowls by the manufacturer making it impossible for the bowl to seal correctly. Removing one o ring and hand tightening the bowl was all that was needed.
I have had the unit installed for a few days now. There is not a significant reduction in water pressure and the orangey staining of the kettle has stopped.
Water tastes great to drink. Overall very pleased with the unit and the service I received from Filter Flair.
Only two locking clips were needed, but the clips were only sold in packs of ten and it would have been good if John Guest included the required locking clips with the new fittings that were also ordered.
Bought the wrong filter and Mark had no hesitation to swap for the correct ones after I explained why it exceeded the return timeframe due to the HAFIN1/HAFIN2 debacle. Brilliant service all round.

After two weeks of being fitted the Hydra Filter System is working as expected.
Clean drinkable water straight from the tap. The build up of scale on the shower and taps is decreasing and the wife says that the washing feels much softer.
Would highly recommend buying from Filter Fair.
